How Do You Determine The Shape of My Brows? The consultation begins by using a small ruler to measure the distance between various facial features. By analyzing the resulting spatial relationships, we can calculate symmetry, and customize a brow design that will achieve the best shape and symmetrical look for your face.
Does It Hurt? - There should be minimal pain, if any! Should your comfort level ever minimize, we have procedures and methods in place to keep each client comfortable throughout the procedure.
How Should I Care For My Brows After The Service? The eyebrow and surrounding area should be kept as clean as possible for 2 weeks. This includes limiting the access to direct water concentration to the brow area, so it’s advised to take care when showering so that direct pressure from the water does not come into contact with your brows!
You may apply makeup as normal, with the exception of the brow area. Please let that heal for at least 7 days before attempting to groom the brow area. You also do not want to pick or scrub the brow area. If rubbing, scrubbing, or picking should occur, you risk losing pigment and having great results from the service.
How Long Will My Microblading Last? - Microblading typically lasts about 1-2 years before fading occurs, and even then, the remnants of past procedures may be seen. It’s advised to book a touchup service once per year to keep your brows looking as fresh as they can!
If you are to select a hybrid or ombré brow, the areas with shading will last longer (3-5 years) before fading, however, touch sessions may be needed before that time period has lapsed.
What Should I Consider BEFORE Treatment (Pre-TreatmentAdvice)?
An ALLERGY TEST is needed, as there is a small percentage of the population who may have allergies to pigments, anesthetics, and other products, so allergy testing is recommended for all clients.
If the skin is irritated or has abrasions, clients will need wait until any irritated skin has healed before booking your appointment. This includes rosacea, eczema, blemishes, sunburns, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, electrolysis, botox and filler procedures.
If the client has oily skin, it may not hold pigments well. Clients with oily skin usually need a touchup sooner than clients with normal or dry skin. You may opt for a combo brow for better retention, or simply need to come back for 2 additional touchups instead of one.
If you have had previous Microblading, Ombre Brows, or Hybrid Brows, you must book a consultation first, and a service is not guaranteed.
If you have social events or major plans, please be advised that 1-7 days after each procedure, your brows will have more of a pigmented look that what they will once they are healed, so please plan accordingly. This is not a service that you get done immediately before a major event plan.
If you are a diabetic, depending on your type, you may not be a good candidate. If you are control your diabetes with your diet, then you may be able to get the procedure done, but a consultation and doctors clearance is needed
if you have keloid skin, your ARE NOT an eligible candidate for the service.
If you are allergic to lidocaine, benzocaine, epinephrine, this service is not recommended as our numbing anesthetics may contain these products.
If you are under doctor’s care for any reason, it is advised that you overcome and are released from doctor’s care before getting a PMU procedure. You must also have a doctor’s clearance to get any PMU service while under doctor’s care.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you are not eligible for any PMU service.
If you have receive chemical peels, microdermabrasion, Botox, Volbella, Allergan, or any other facial enhancements services, you must wait 4-6 weeks before your service.
Please refrain from taking alcohol or using any blood-thining products like aspirin, as they may cause excessive bleeding during the service.
